It isn't always possible to be near an outlet to keep a charger running. A laptop is supposed to be portable. But a user may still need to be on their computer more than just 2 or 3 hours their batteries allow them. That can turn into a real problem if the person can't keep their computer running because lithium ion battery stocks its battery just died.

All the phones now come with lithium ion batteries and charging should not be an issue ...although it's best not to charge them over 24 hours..Overnight every night is fine...they all do have a life though leaving it off when you don't need it can extend that. Although you would miss calls.
Agitate the lithium bettery stock water gently until the light tells you it's done. UV purifiers don't work in murky water, so if that's the only water you have, you'll have to pre-filter it until it's not cloudy. You also need to make sure you don't drop a UV device.
For any new laptop, the battery usually comes empty. It's advisable to charge at least 4 hours non-stop on the first charging as it can prolong the lifespan of the battery. Also during the first charging, it is not advisable to use the laptop battery at all.
For jobs where the batteries are required to be light weight as well as being reusable, then lithium batteries are ideal. But if a battery is needed to be very reliable or to remain unused for a long time then they might not be the right batteries for it.
